I have rebuilt my c-6 in my truck.It worked fine until I adjusted the modulator for early shifting problems.The trans still shifts too early for my taste so I will put in a shift kit.The problem is when I put the truck in reverse it feels like it goes into gear,then it slips out of gear.If I give the engine a quick rev it will slam into gear.Is this a problem with the valve body or arethere problems with the reverse piston/clutches.I readjusted the mod,but have not seen any change.

I don't think that the modulator is your problem in reverse, as it is to use the engine vac. to determine when to upshift to 2 and 3. It may sound stupid but you need to make sure it has the proper amount of fluid in it. Sounds like there is some internal problems.
