Well Dan I went and got the seal Brian recommended then I went to NAPA and bought the seal you recommended The two seals are made of the same material as best I can tell
The guy at the place where i bought the seal said he thought it was viton.
Both seals are black and the only diffrence that I can see between the two was the packaging.

 

Well I think the key here is that the seal is Viton, it handles the heat much better. Sounds same same to me.
