the differance the new Bilstein shock made in my trucks ride! Within 5 miles of leaving the house, my wife commented on how much better my truck rode. Now she is usually critical of my truck "needs" and the money "needed" to get them. I know you guys told me, but I thought mine were good enough. They even smoothed out these horrible NC roads! Can't see how the shocks had anything to do with my mileage, but I got the best I've seen a a long time, 21.87mpg. Really smoothed out the ruts in the sand on the beach too!
Ordered them from Shockwarehouse.com. They are a site sponsor and have a 10% off discount and an extra 5% off for FTE members. Just enter Ford5 in the promo code box.

WOW, Barry. Almost 22 MPG? That is great. I can't get close to that but good to know you are getting that. Glad the little lady likes the ride.
Congrats bro.
I usually get around 15-17mpg, but I am usually by myself and play a lot harder. With Jill and Callie (our puppy) in the truck, I drive more like I should. I'll check it again on the way home and see if it's close. I know it's headed south for a while, 25lbs of air in the tires, hubs locked, 4wd on the sand all day long makes for poor mileage on a good day. But, the ride is sure 'nuff smooth.
congratz on the install im sure we could help you figure out a way to explain the BB turbo to the wife so that it sounded like it would make it ride better/ run quieter...
Great to hear man I got to get mine on tomorrow I got them from the shockwarehouse as well when they had them get the 4th free 194 shipped to the house!
