I tried to change the fluid on my 99 PSD with a automatic but when I took out the drain plug only about 6 quarts came out and the manuel says it holds 17 quarts. Where is the rest of the fluid and how do I get it out? Any help is good,

Will that work on a C-6 also?

It will work on any automatic. The specifics on fluid type, bolt locations, etc, are different, but the general practices works on any of them.
