Location of jack?

I have recently bought my 1st used truck. I bought it from somebody who had it for sale because the original owner had alzheimers. There was no owners manual in the vehicle. It is a 1995 Ford f-150. I took it for a checkup at the Winston Salem NC. The shop forman told me he thought the jack for that model was under the hood somewhere. I have looked and looked and cannot see it. I crawled under the truck and looked at the spare tire and see no jack there either. However, I'd like to find some instructions on getting the spare tire down too. And practice it a time or two before I actually get a flat. Thanks in advance for any replies.

i carry a small suv saddle jack anyway.

never trusted bottle jacks since i had a car fall off one.
