I had someone (local kids I assume) break the drivers side window out of my truck when it was parked on the street in front of the house. They didnt take anything, the door wasnt even locked! Luckily I found a free window but it was a PITA to clean up and replace. Every time I slam the door and hear the broken glass in the bottom I get a reminder
Connect the vent line to a vacuum source on the carb and let the vapors burn in the combustion chamber. It will not hurt anything and helps the environment.
I'm not a tree hugger but it's just a vent and you won't smell gas vapors around your truck when it gets hot and your fuel expands.
That must be why my truck smells of gasoline when I park it under my carport. Do you use ported vacuum for this? Do you use some sort of check valve? And did you have to adjust your mixture screws when this line is hooked up?
I figured it was easier than trying to plug all 8 holes in the old smog manifolds. I did retain the injection tube that goes to the back of the heads in case I have to pass a smog test some day. At lest I will only have to add 1 smog pump instead of 2.
Yeah, it sounds easier haha.
What states have the smog test?
I know Nebraska doesnt, neither does Iowa, otherwise I wouldn't have had the Topaz or my current F250 haha
you really ought to post up some pics of that 67 stang with the 351W up... i know its not a truck but its a ford and i wanna see it, so show me!
Here you go.

As far as I know. I have heard on the news that the state is pushing for my county to initiate smog testing, even threatening to withhold certain funding if we dont.
ah, well im glad that I live in a part of Nebraska where everyone could care less.
The rules of, the one with the biggest truck at a 4 way intersection goes first, followed by the loudest, followed by the ugliest, followed by ricers really does apply here
