Sorry to hear your illness. I have not been on the chapter much but i am also a victim of the recession.

Bart same for you, Are they cutting the helos back that much?

Received notice at 3:45 PM On the Friday before last that my services were no longer needed and i was pink slipped. Now there was me and a trainee PM/estimator and we each got the axe and heave ho at 15 minutes to quitting time.

Have a bunch of Resumes out so hopefully something will wash up.

This economic deal is tough & getting tougher it seems. Sorry to hear of the problems it is causing friends. It seems like it is so far off until it hits people you know. I thank God Vici & I saw a glimmer of this happening a few years ago & prepared the best we could. Vici going into SPED was one of our preps. It looks like Nevada will pass a two year budget this month that should protect her for at least two years, plus 90% is Federal money. But we will save enough this year to be set for several years if things get worse. We have stocked up on MREs, metals, powder, etc. The big deal is few bills. But even so we could find ourselves jobless etc.
Our prayers are with all of you. Most on the board have valuable skills that will allow you to do OK even in these times.
Travis,
My friend Butch in Winnemucca has 34 years as an Engineer with the R&R. He told me he maybe the only one working local if this deals gets any worse. They have released or transfered most of the guys off the local 41.
