The power steering gear in my 1993 F150 went bad so I went ahead and replaced it. Since then its got a pretty nasty whine and sometimes I can tell there is an air pocket because it will kinda stick. Anyway all I have seen on the internet is to just turn it lock to lock to bleed it. I have been driving it a while so that hasnt fixed it. Is there a bleeder screw or a good way to bleed it?
I remember bleeding my 1995 mustang once and the pressure coming out of that thing was so high you couldnt contain it so there has to be a better way than what I remember doing.
The gear is off of a 1991 (or there abouts I just know they switched it a few years before 1993) which is technically different than my 1993 but the casing is the exact same just different innards.
