One Chrysler dealership that is in my area that is was told to close isnt really closing...the guy owns a Ford dealership that he had moved to the Chrysler lot a year ago. He said he saw the writing on the wall with Chyrsler, so he bought the Chrysler dealership for the property a few years back. He only really wanted the Ford dealership which he bought 8 years ago (a few miles down the road) because of the trucks and commercial trucks.
Ian, I totally see your point but, as an employer, I can only think of how upset one of my own would be if I had the audacity to terminate their employment via a messenger or email, particularly if the severance was due to something other than performance. I understand that arguably that was Chryslers' position (closing dealerships with less than stellar performance) but I can't see this as anything other than what it is....yet another cold, callous, self serving corporate giant taking a sh** on the little guy, in many cases dealerships that were with them from the onset of the brand.
If and when Chrysler manages to emerge from this fiasco, I can assure you it will be with the help of $12.00 per hour limited benefit labor and a leaner (cheaper) greener product line and bloated executive salaries and benefits.
Perhaps Chrysler should consider just taking what remains of their manufacturing "prowess" over to China, add some slave labor, lead and melamine, and figure out how to repay the US taxpayer their due.

What on earth is a "Mahindra", it sounds like some sort of Hindu deity. "Honey, I'll be a little late for dinner, gonna go test drive a new Mahindra." wtf?
I checked them out when looking for a new tractor. First off if I need a part for them, its not real easy to get them as I have to go to a dealer, who is a local horse farmer selling them out of a out building, he really has no inventory of parts. They look cheaply made, no real substance like a Kubota, John Deere, New Holland has. I have been around tractors of all sizes my whole life, and that is one brand that I will stay clear of. If it came down to it, I would rather go buy a IR tractor because its just a Kubota repainted and rebranded with IR colors and logos. (But I bought a Kubota anyways)
