just curious....

I haven't seen any threads on this and it might be a dumb question but has anyone ever put any electric fans on their truck and done away with the clutch fan. Just curious and thought i'd throw some new topic to discuss and see what comes up.

i know some guys have tried it over the years...never heard any great results...the stocker can move alot of air...it's pretty hard to beat...it doesn't need much energy(HP) to be driven unless things are really getting hot..

It uses a hall effect clutch and winds up according to need. Don't think you will improve on it . JMHO

On a slightly different topic, has anyone ever wired the stock one up so that you can override the computer and kick it on and off manually like in a big rig?
