My early 99 F250 came with 4" rear blocks. Don't later models have shorter blocks. If so how tall are they?
I know this is a crazy idea to most of you but I would like to level my truck by lowering the rear instead of raising the front. Shorter blocks and new U-bolts may just do it. If I put in a 2 1/2" front leveling kit the truck will not fit through the garage door. I only have about 1 1/4" clearance as is. I know if I raised the front I could just let air out of the front tires and squeeze in but that would be a PITA everytime I wanted to put the truck inside.
Yep, stock late model F250 blocks are 2". I'll bet someone with a later F250 would be happy to swap blocks with you, then all you'd need is new u-bolts.

I will hang onto the old blocks until I'm sure I did the right thing.
