I am going to get rid of the horribly done dual exhaust on my 360, and I found that the stock y-pipe is still available. It's a two-piece y, with a long 2.5" pipe on the right. My questions are, has anybody used the Walker replacement pipe, and where does this put the muffler? I still intend to run a Flowmaster or similar, I just want it back a bit further than under the cab.
Ford_Six,
A stock Y-pipe should put the front of your muffler just about at the middle (front to back) of you seat on the passenger side. Every experience I've ever had with Walker exhaust parts has been very good. Very close to original fit and good quality. It's been a few years and I hope they are still the same.

That might be a bit better. I have dual 2.25" pipes now, and with the flowmasters the turn-downs are right at the cab rear wall. Very loud, and very annoying, but better than the completely burned out glasspacks that were there.
I'll probably still have to run a pipe back a bit.
It'll cost more to fix what's there. I'm not all wrapped up in needing duals, and I honestly don't see the gain when running stock manifold logs.
It cost me $60 to have the right side pipe remade, and it'll probably cost me the same to have the left pipe remade. Add $30 for a stick of 2.25" pipe, and it's cheaper to run the y-pipe with a new muffler. If I would have known this was available when I redid the right side pipe, I would have just gone this route.
Haven't gotten them yet, but they are available through the CSK auto parts site. It's about $65 for the complete y-pipe for a 2wd, one of the pieces is different for the 4x4.
