Newbie with door problem
I have a 96 F150 4 x 4 5 litre.
The door will no longer open from the inside. I think it needs a cable.
Does anyone know the part number and the problems I will likely encounter to solve this problem?

The inside door handle is connected to the door latch assy. by a rod. On the end of the rod there is a plastic retainer that has probably broken, that is all you need. There are several different kinds, you will need to remove yours and take it to the dealer or they might have it in the Help! section of your auto parts store.
