need moving boxes....ideas?

Try computer stores in your area.
On my last project we deployed a ton of different Dell computers and the boxes they shipped in were sturdy and just about perfect for "moving boxes". The boxes the laptops came in were actually bigger, almost too big for moving. I broke down a bunch of them and brought them home for parts storage and such. I used the laptop boxes for "poor boy creepers" in the garage.

Besides the free ones mentioned...
if you get desperate, the big moving companies sell used boxes cheap. The ones that have different competitor names go real cheap.
Check out companies like United Van lines etc.
Also check behind those big box buildings in industrial parks. Almost all of them leave out cardboard boxes free for pickup. There are enough that some people make a living recycling them so check before the end of a business day.
