stalling after hard towing

stalling after hard towing
Only two times now, I have been in a little hury to get home with a car trailer maybe 2000 pounds, After 10 minutes of safe but fast driving I come to a stop and she stalls. Starts right back up and keeps going. The first time it happened after I started it back up the exhaust temp was running high and I had to keep my foot out of it for a couple of minutes. Exhaust temp never got near 1300, Engine temp was higher then normal though, But mine never gets above the first line except for these two times. Its a 95 7.3, Stage ones,T.W. 6 position chip was set to tow. Any ideas why she stalled?
