Quick Question
Where on the frame is the Vin number located on a 1966 ford F-100. The truck is 3000 miles away so I can't crawl under and look for it. I tried the forum search and its a POS.

On the top of the right (passenger) side frame rail, just in front of the cab.
It also could be on the crossmember, directly under the harmonic balancer.
That's where it is on mine, the truck was assembled in San Jose, CA.

On my '65 F-250, it was located on the top of the passenger's side frame rail, directly inline with / across from the alternator location.
I removed the tire and with a bit of sandpaper & a flash light, I was able to see it.
