what symtoms was your truck having in order for you to pull your turbo?

very sluggish all thru rpm range poor mileage felt like always towing a load

a guy on ebay sells a rebuild kit, Ron's turbo service I belive its called. He has a pretty good reputaion on here.

Something munched that wheel good. For replacement options, there is always Ebay but I would get with Clay (Riffraff Performance) and see if he can find or has a turbo for you. Someone on here may have a stocker they'd be willing to part with as well.
As for what caused the damage, I'd be looking in the CAC tubing and exhaust for a foreign object somewhere. That being the exhaust side of the turbo, I'm not sure where such a part may have originated. What does the compressor wheel look like?

Yes, but those kits don't include a new exhaust side turbine, which is what mollikate needs.

the compressor wheel has your normal dusting, no real damage

So the real question is, what chewed up the exhaust side wheel like that, and where the crap did it come from?

I would venture to guess that the bearings died and it slowly started scraping again the housing.

Yes, but everyone is attuned to different stuff. If it happens really slowly then it may not be as noticeable as you think.
I have an exhaust housing that he can have for shipping if the stocker is torn up.
