from the 60s and possibly earlier to 1997 they were 8x6.5 when the stupid duties were introduced it went to 8x170mm?
BTW, chevy and dodge 8 lug new or old will also work, minor changes may be needed like and some are hub centric etc.

My neighbors 99 dodge wheels will not fit earlier 8 lug. I'm not sure about Chevy except I was told they are different also.

Watch the Chevy wheels.
Some of the center holes are to small.
Older Dodge wheels fit fine.
97 and older F series 6.5" x 8
99 and newer F series 170mm x 8
The difference is about 3/16", just enough they won't fit.
