I think my master cylinder is going bad, my brakes feel strange and kind of mushy and i can see a residue of brake fluid running down on the booster. Does anyone have any advice? Should i check other places before i assume that it is my master cylinder?
I tried searching for this on the pre-powerstroke forum but all the search yielded was unrelated threads, such as the"bull.....thread".
When you separate them look in the booster and see if it has gotten fluid in it, you could possibly get lucky, any fluid, replace it or you will regret not doing so.
Thanks festus hagen. Lets hope i get lucky, but i might end up replacing it anyways because i found a deal where a remaned brake booster and master cylinder are sold together.
I tried to give you rep points, but it wouldn't let me.
