oil cooler
the guy said that the oil cooler gaskets need to be changed, it has a very minor leak. how hard is it to do this? looking to buy. i am mechanical, and work on engines. i have never worked on this engine before.

You'll need to unbolt the driver side motor mount and jack up the engine and remove the oil filter. Access the bolts right through the wheel well on the driver side. Pull the cooler out from the rear of the cross member. Replace all the O-Rings and gaskets. Match them up to be sure you get the right ones because there are different coolers used on these engines. When re-assembling the end caps to the cooler tube, I simply used a floor jack and the hitch on the truck as a press, lining up the tabs and notches. The o-rings are a tight fit.
