Look for Bedliner Spray Pictures (Under/Over Rail)
I am looking for pictures of trucks with both the under and over the bed rail spray in bedliner on a 73-79. I'm trying to decide which to do.

I have them seperated by Year,Model,Drive (2WD,4x4) (EX: F-100,F-150,F-250,F-350.)
NOTE: First Year for F-350 4x4 was '79.

That looks pretty clean. I was worried about how the over the bed rail spray would look on these trucks. The inner edge of the bed is exhibiting rest, so I wanted to go over the rail to take care of that ugly mess and make it look nice.

well i guess i'll put that a little bit further down the list then haha. first is general maintenance/new fluids/air cleaner, then exhaust, body work, and i guess i'll throw the $500 bedliner in there along with bodywork.
anybody know if these will go over some mild rust? or is it gonna eventually rust away?

I did the herculiner on my old truck. I don't have it anymore, but it wasn't that bad. If I were you I'd buy a little more than what they say you'll need because they're only quoting for a thin coat but you can put it as thick as you want. Prepping the bed is the hard part. Scuffing it and wiping it down to remove all the oils. The kit comes with a brush and a roller to use. I picked it up at Autozone for like $89 along with another smaller can for a little more.

well i've looked into herculiner, and it looks like the solution to my problem. i think i might go crazy with it though. i actually did it to my motorcycle one time, but it was the spray can kind (didn't work too well).
i think if i take the time and all i might do black inside the bed, black on the bumpers, and red on the outside of the bed, red on the hood (because the paint is bad), and possibly red on almost the whole exterior of the truck. i guess i might do this sooner than i thought.
Any thoughts on this? Should i re-think my thinking?
