It was a little difficult to figure out what wires went to what part on the alternator, and you also have to turn some **** inside the actual gauge to get it to read the right rpm. I have one of these style by Autometer.Just be aware that any alternator belt slippage will cause errors in tach display.Isspro makes several programmable tachs that can use the factory tach sensor by inputing the number of pulses per rev. Since it reads directly from the IP gear it will be dead on all the time.They are somewhat more expensive, but if you have a factory sensor it is a good option.The glue on magnet setup is subject to road debris etc. There are several options on tachs. Depends on what you want.
