programmable 1997 ???
i have a 1997 f250 5.8 4x4 (old body). i would like to know if this machine is programmable.like shift intervals and performance levels. i couldnt find the diagnostgics/program port ( plug) under the dash so i just dont know thanks in advance..........................

Those are the 2 basic types of EFI, mass air uses a sensor near the air box to measure the amount of air entering the motor, SD simply measures manifold vacuum and calculates engine requirements using factory loaded info about the motor. The mass air systems are suported by some tuner and chip makers, while the SD system is generally not supported.
