Knock sensor question

I am performing a motor swap on my 1990 Ford F-150. The original 302 motor is on its last leg and instead of rebuilding, a buddy of mine offered me a sweet deal on the freshly rebuild and modified motor out of his 1990 Mustang. But here's the catch, the motor out of his Mustang (302HO) does not have a provision for the knock sensor at the back of the motor like the 302 from my truck does. I am using an Edelbrock Performer Truck 5.0 EFI manifold and swaping out from speed density to MAF on the truck. Is there somewhere else this sensor could (should) go on a 302HO or do I even need it? How could I go about doing away with it if I don't need it? Anyone have a good answer for this one?

If you are using a mustang computer for the MAF swap, it will not use the knock sensor either and you can leave it out.
