You will have to change your firing order to the HO's order. And I dont remember if you have to use the stangs harness and computer. Someone will chime in. Everything else should bolt right in. Are you going to use the truck intake or HO's intake?

It shouldn't be any problem at all to bolt on the truck intake and exhaust (and oil pan possibly) to the mustang engine. It should run fine on the truck electronics and wiring, just attach the spark plug wires on the distributor in the mustang firing order.

Are you swapping motors or just looking to get the performance of the HO motor?

I would say that you need to convert your truck to mass air.

My truck is done this way by its previous owner. It is still Speed denisty for now, it works, but is not the best way. At times it stumbles, and sturges at idle. I just need to get parts together for a new injector harness, MAf pig-tail, and a Mustang ECM.
