hello, This is my first post. So thanks for any and all replies.
I own a 2002 F-150 super crew with a 4.6 V-8 triton motor.
A couple of months ago at about 69,500 miles it started running sluggish, hesitant no check service engine light was on at this time so I thought it was time for a tune up. I did a tune up to include plugs (motorcraft), boots & wire (not cop), fuel filter, oil, oil filter, pcv valve, and air filter. This did not fix the problem, but did show some improvement.
At about 69,600 miles the service engine light came on I went to Auto zone they coded it as P0316, P0308 missfire on cylinder 8. With the recent tuneup I replaced the CoP on cylinder 8 all went well truck ran like new the light reset. Now at 70,006 miles the truck is hesitant at start up, and the service engine light is on, Auto Zone again code P0316, P0308.
Has this happened to others, is this a common problem, any ideas?
