Ignition not shutting off
Thanks to the guys who helped with my starter prob. Bad ground fixed. Now when cranking and I shut key off, engine still cranking. Jump out and d/c batt cable. try to put cable back on and still energized for about 2 min. (1980 Ford f150 300six carbed). Ive replaced relay 2xs and I cant figure out what is still energizing relay. Any ideas?????

I would say bad or mis-adjusted ignition switch or possible bad batch of solenoids
Did you check to see if you had 12volts to the solenoid before you replaced 2 of them for nothing? Is the solenoid hooked up correctly?
Does it still crank with the ignition wire disconnected from it?
