livewire just more functions?
does the livewire do everything the SCT X3 does? can innovative put a custom tune on it for me? im buying it for a mustang owner. will there be any problem with that? does this unit have an egt option?. thats guys i got a van aaken on it now but want to go sct!

I don't think that there should be a problem.
Yes, the livewire has an egt probe. Here is the thing though, there have been issues with the livewire not acting just right. I think that there has been more complaints then not with the livewire. You could be taking a chance on getting a problem child. Might want to weigh that on the decision making process as well. I don't have any personal experiance with the livewire, just from people that I know and from people on here as well.

because the previous owner was a mustang owner,will i have to send it away or somehow put sct truck tunes in it from the website?how do i change it from mustang to 6.0 diesel. please help .i want to get to the bottom of this and grab it from him before he sells it.

Make sure he returns it to stock and unlocks it from his mustang's vin and then you contact Innovative Diesel and get them to write you some tunes(you'll have to get the strategy off of your truck first and give that series of letters and numbers to them). After those tunes are emailed to you, you upload them to the livewire, in the process of uploaded those tunes to the device, it will overwrite the existing tunes with your new tunes.
You shouldn't have to send it off anywhere, unless the device wasn't returned to stock or their was some other complication.

figured it out and simple to use, got my strategy # and everything. what is the tune it puts in your truck ? i didn't go into user adjustments i just skipped it. it has much more power now, so i assume it but something in (tow, street, extreme). i see that on the innovative web site it's $80 , is that for all three tunes or each?. thanks for helping tex

It should be 65 per tune. You get a discount on the tune price if you do it with a purchase of the tuner from them. They may have a package deal I don't know, but the link is for individual tunes if there is something specific that you want, but it isn't in a package.
