Running rough, then fine...
Im working on a 97 250 about 80k when you start it it runs fine for a while then will cut out an hardly run and very rough the check engine will come on. After a couple min. the lite will go off and will run fine again it repeats this cycle. Hope this is a good enough clue Thanks for any help.

Did you have any luck? You described my 95 250's newest trick exactly. I cant pull codes cause min was built in 11/94 and im having one hell of a time finding a programmer/scanner that will work. Please keep us posted, may save me a trip to the dealer. Thanks!

If you can't scan for codes, I'd be using the process of elimination method to find the problem. Replace all the filters and check your under valve cover wiring harness to see if you have any melted contacts.
I don't think there are any fuel issues that will set the CEL, but I could be wrong.
