I hear my neighbor going around my corner all the time in his OBS, his turbo whistle is way more pronounced than my late '99s......I'm going to ask to see just what he has under the hood.....

 

its a smaller turbo with a WW..my eary 99 turbo had a far better sounding whistle then the 99.5 turbo with WW when i did my swap...my BB i have now sound more like a blower whine then a whistle...

i have a twin turbo on my 7.3 but i only push 20lbs of boost SOMEONE HELP!!!

If you have compounds on your 7.3, you should know how to troubleshoot it. We would be taking shots in the dark not knowing anything about it. Did someone else put it on for you?
