So how bad did other Southern Missouri residents take today's storm??? We literally watched my gas grill on the back deck move from side to side. Later the alarm on my 01 went off, figured it was the hail hitting it again. Nope, it was a section of shingles from over the kitchen. Rich I called you're house this morning, no answer, Penny was most likely at work.... I'm gonna call this evening and make sure she's ok. Unk Bob
Large sections of fence that runs behind my apartment building blew over, several houses in my neighborhod have shingles blown off. And the house that I have to keep going to, to fix the roof thanks to a crappy roofing job had about a square worth blown off, so I got to make some more money fixing it once again. And about 3/4 of the houses in that neighbor hood have several sections of shingle blown off of them too.
we faired the storm ok. power was out all day tell about 730 tonight alot of trees down on the way home. hit one with the truck got a huge scratch on the side. the wind moved moms car about two foot as she watched but no damage.
Kind if figured she was ok, but thought I'd try to call, never did get an answer on the house phone. Guess you made it back over safely...
Keep you're head down.
Unk Bob

Sorry to hear all that, at least everyone made it thru all that damage uninjured? Are any of those trees oak or usable to sale as venieer? Might ease your pain and help the wallet a bit.
Just a thought, but don't let those lumber folks screw you over on what they might pay you for it, I've seen it happen to many times. Cause people do not know what good lumber trees are worth.
