i also like the manual.id hate to be laying in the snow and cold ground taping on the motor or trying to replace it if it burned up.if u know your lever is starting to not work right pick a nice day and grease it to get it to work right.thats ssomething u know is going out.but a bad motor or bad connections they seem to go when ever.just pull and go.just my 2 cents
i was wheelin last week and i reached down to go from 4hi to 4lo and the lever just slid back and forth. uh oh. so im stuck in 4hi. no big deal. so i keep goin and it pops into neutral. well i look and the linkage had popped off of the bottom of the lever.
just something to look out for. everything ever built is capable of failing. is the manual more reliable? probably has been for most people. can it fail? yep. (but a quick fix by snapping the linkage back on beats the hell out of tapping with a hammer while your gf pushes the button. lol)
