rough running

rough running
i have a rather large problem. my truck runs fine if you take it easy on it but if you get down on it it seems to run rough .take your foot off the fuel it smoothes out. i have changed the filter and switch. Any help would be very helpful

How old & what type of oil are you running ?...

I am running Rotela oil. But i did find the problem.i Did not know that the injectors run such high pressure. I also found ouy that my truck has a small leak and was low on oil. Many thanks any way to the both of you.

yup our injectors need oil to fire, if the oil is too low then they won't fire correctly or at all!!! great for if you have a HUGE leak that suddenly shows up... never have to worry about the engine siezing from lack of oil since it'll shut off before it gets to that point
