Driver Side Lumbar support leaks...
Anyone ever replace or repair the lumbar support air bag in the driver seat on a '96 F350? Mine has developed a leak. I have a bad back, and this thing rides like it doesn't have a suspension....so I REALLY need that lumbar support.

Never have personally torn one apart...am curious what advise you receive..suspect it is a PIA. The one in my Mustang has leaked down for years, never really wanted to rip the seat apart to fix it...maybe there's some simple line fitting or something that is easily fixable. Good luck.

I recently had my seat apart to re-weld the frame support that holds the lumbar air bag. It was quite a chore to separate the foam cushion from the seat frame to get the seat cover off. I had to carefully slide my fingers up the round frame members to break the glue seal from the cushion so as not to tear the cushion. The cover then will slide off but it is a tight fit. I thought that I would need to replace the airbag, but the frame welds had just broke off the main seat frame. Good Luck.
