I was wondering if being in Canada would make a difference. Seems like a line on a map is a bunch of B.S. but that is govt. If I lived closer I would let you have mine. I prefer a shovel for soil probeing...Good luck in your search..Doug

if your doing a few soil tests, just borrow someones ice auger, i've done it with them before. I think i'm a little late answering this one though...

Never to late to answer.

I was actually pondering that, but I wasnt sure if the ice auger would dig the same in dirt. I mean I guess why not.

How far can an ice auger be extended to though? I have to be able to go 8 feet down.
