Warn Hub Conversion Kit Discontinued
Has enyone heard that the
Warn Hub Conversion Kit #27997 has been discontinued.
I have a 1990 Bronco II with the dana 35 axle
27 teeth spline. I am changing the auto hubs
for manuel hubs. I purchased the manuel hubs
from part store for $112.99 and the warn conversion kit #32720 for $36.00
The paper that came with the hubs says to use
conversion kit #27997 for this vechicle
i contactacted the parts store I told them
about the conv kit they gave me
they called there mian office and said that
the warn conversion kit #27997 had been
discontinued.
Should i use the conversion kit#32720
that the part store sold me?

WOW! That is a rare bird. People are always talking about finding a BII from the factory with the dana 35/8.8 option.
Somewhere on the Internet is a list of the parts in each of the kits, it is not much and basically just common hardware. On yours is it just a thrust/bearing washer and a plate?
Not for nothing, but, isnt the easiest and cheapest way to convert the axles a junk yard run on a Ranger 4.0 4x4 and grabbing everything from the stub axle outwards?
