back lights and door locks not work

hi, i have an expedition 98, and i have a problem, recently the back lights (reverse) not turn on when i go on reverse direction and the door locks not work when I begin to drive, the door locks only work with the alarm switch and the door switch. I have checked all the fuses and they're good, so i don't have idea what can be the problem, if you can help me i will thank really.

Excuse my english but i'm mexican. Thank you guys

If you have an automatic transmission, the reverse lights problem is probably the MSLP (neutral safety switch) on the drivers side of your transmission. It will have to be adjusted. It MIGHT also be the other problem too.....

ok i get it, but what means exactly MSLP and where can i take it to be adjusted almost ford service

You SHOULD be able to do it yourself....use the "search" function and try to find it. Maybe someone here will let you know.

MLPS (Manual Lever Position Sensor) Sorry, got the initials wrong. You should be able to do this yourself...it's just alligning the lever on the side of the transmission. Amybe someone here has access to the exact procedure for your vehicle.
