Antifreeze Testing

Hey guys just wondering if this is the right stuff the cavitation additive or if there is something better. Cooling System Treatment, 16 oz
I've never tested the stuff in the five years I've had the truck so I'm sure I'm going to need some.

Yep, that's the stuff. You can also get a bottle of test strips to check the SCA level in the fluid from NAPA. Buy the cheapest one they sell. You don't need to pay extra for any fancy kit. The cheap one comes with a bunch of paper strips that you dip in the coolant. The bottle has a color chart on it to match the strip up against. The other kits come with more things, but all you need is the strip and a color chart.

I had to order the test strips (small town napa) so I'll get it done tomorrow. I appreciate the help.

Yes, those are the right ones. SCA's are supplemental coolant additive. Stick the strip in the anti-freeze and check the colors to see where you are on the chart. Odds are, you'll need to dump a bottle or two in there. Then after driving around a bit (to get it mixed in well) you can check it again in a day or two and add more if needed.
