Racing Stripes

I am looking for some input. I have an '02 Dark Shadow Grey x-cab short bed.
I am thinking about having the truck repainted. One door ding that paintless dent removal can't fix, rust on right rear fender well and the left bedside does not match to my liking (a lady on a cell phone, need I say more). Anyway, I am sticking with the same color but I was thinking of a pair black racing stripes up over the hood, roof and down the tailgate. What are your thoughts/opinions. Thanks Ben

It would look too much like the Dodges. Don't think I would like it.

The Dodge thing did come to mind. But I was thinking of the Mustangs that have the stripes, mostly the GT500's

I would paint it like the Platinum Edition trucks!

Only cuz I got one!!! But yeah, mostly Dodges got those strips.

The only person you need to please is yourself. If you like it do it. Stripes down the middle are not the sole property of a Dodge by any means.

By all means get what you want. Over the hood/cab stripes just always looked funny to me as the bed kills the flow of stripe. I have a co worker that has a red dodge with the stripes. He has a bed cover and the stipes are on it and down the tailgate and that still just looks odd.
