Tow Haul Button

I just purchased a 2009 XLT Supercrew, My question is because of the six speed transmission should i leave it in D or 3 when hauling my trailer using Tow Haul Button?

Ok, to answer the poor guy's question.... leave it in the "D" (overdrive) position. Putting the selector in 3 will make the truck use third gear only, even on take-off......not a good thing when towing. The tow/haul shift stratetgy should take care of everything. You don't have to manually lock these trucks out of overdrive like you did with the old 4 speeds.

Ok, point taken. I'm just bitter and jealous that I not only don't have an '09 owner's manual, I, uh, well, don't have a '09 anything.
