Quick 92 Transmission Help !!!!
Ok heres my situation my 92 150 5 speed 6 cyl is having a problem.It now has 120,000 miles on it and the clutch is original.I know that i need a clutch but now if i go to put the truck in reverse the truck wont move feels just like i am trying to back up with the emergency brake on,then when i put the truck in 1st gear to go its fine but when i get to 3rd gear there is a lot of grinding going on,also when i come to a stop i usally put the truck in nuetral and now it moves when i let the clutch out in neatral like it is sticking or somthing basically i can drive my truck this way if i wanted to.When it finally gives there is a big clunking noise in the tranny or around it .Can you all diagnose my problem.And what you think i will have to pay for a fixing clutch and or rebuild?Thanks please let me know asap as i want to go to the trans shop with a little knowledge behind me so i dont get dragged acroos a bed of hot coals. Thnaks again
