DANA 20 identification
I have a Dana Model 20 out of a Bronco, question I have is that it came with no shifters and I need to know exactly what I have so I can fit it behind an NP435, so I can twin stick it, and so I can just plain old rebuild it. Where can I locate information about serial numbers and number identification on these cases ? Thanks for all answers.

I think you should be able to get parts for it just by knowing it is a Dana 20 out of a Bronco. You wil need to get an adapter from Advanced Adapters to bolt it to the NP435. I have a Bronco model 20 laying in the back yard if the numbers off that tag would help I can post them. I was going to use it in a Jeep, but I have scraped that idea.

I know I can get parts for it with just my little bit of info. I just want to purchase a manual for it and I want to know the year it was produced. I unfortunatly don't have any shifters and don't know the diference between the two early bronco 20s produced to order the right parts. If both shifters interchange then it's not a problem. Is your DANA 20 for sale ????? Thanks.

Later years had what is called the j handle shifter. Is supposed to be more difficult to shift. I don't think they inter-change. There are several Bronco parts houses and forums out there. K-bar and Tom's Bronco parts come to mind.
