Deciphering the axle code

I have a '74 F-100 with the Transmission code of "C" and rear axle code of "09."

From this info, can anyone what gearing I have?

Deciphering the axle code

Go to this website and put in your VIN# and it will tell you what gear ratio your truck should have . If the rear gear hasn't been changed it should be the right info. Hope this helps.
