ford newbe needs help please

Hello everyone. I've been lurking around here for a while trying to learn as much as i can seeing as I just bought my first ford. Its a 97 f350 PSD auto, drw and about 320 000 kms on the clock ( about 200 000 miles). Anyway it had been working fine last time it was running but I went to move it today and nothing, Wouldn't even crank over. WTS light didn't come on and the was a clicking noise comming from the under hood fuse box when the key was in the on postion. I plugged in my scanner but it wasn't throwing any codes. Anyone have this problem before that could lead me in the right direction before I start doing this . Thanks

Welcome to

I agree. Could be dead batteries or loose cables. Make sure the battery fluid is at the proper level, both batteries have a good charge and the cables are clean and tight.

x2 plus check to see if you left any lights on. Or a draw on the batteries somehow. Sounds like its complety dead, well almost except for the click.
