NOT a good day

we were headed to Smyrna to get my boys 302 for his 73 and at 8AM we had a guy at I24 and Harding place fly by us and hydroplane...needless to say that we did't get his motor and the following pic shows what happened to my baby , cut bruised and sore but ok hit him Tbone so hard and then hit the concrete divider my dash was in my steering wheel and twisted my bed, just put on full magnaflow headers back duals,K&N cold air, billet gas cap, vent visors, bug shield and tonneau covor , had the truck 5 weeks..I wish people would slow down in inclement weather

metro PD said other guy at fault and responsible , but my insurance is saying I might be out all my accessories and down payment and might not pay off all of loan ..which means I will go after him , have only had it 5 weeks!20 years with Nationwide and now I see how I am taken care of , never had a claim in those 20 years , says I should have bought GAP insurance from loan company , but they didn't offer it..what a racket!!

HOLY CRAP!

I just saw this, and all I can say is drive defensively....

But that I think was both unavoidable and unforgiveable.

Lookout for jackasses, because they don't look out for you!

WAS THAT CLOWN EVEN INSURED?

That ought to come out of the other guys pocket, not yours.

they get ownership once they payoff the loan.I can buy it back , but not much salvagable, from the bed forward and the interior and engine and tranny shot. They want to pay me 8800 for it , I just got it and owe 12400 ,plus put on over 2000 in accessories.I just hired an attorney ,all I want since it is 5 weeks old is my 1500 down pmt,the 1st payment I made last week and replacement of my accessories ,I can understand if my fault , but was his fault...stay away from Nationwide!!!I have had them 20 years and worthless when time for claim

Is his / the other driver insurance involved; I betcha nationwide is going to charge them full price and leave you hanging to dry; I would think between them both it would cover the entire truck, Also I take a saw-all and get the muffler's if possible to include after market radio stuff that you put on it if possible.

That is what I said to them , but he said if I removed anything he will start deducting it from the settlement.I am switching companies as soon as it is settled! They still haven't even gotten the police report yet.I can't get to Nashville to get 1 so am waiting on them.I have everything to get the boys 73 engine in so I can at least have a vehicle but got cellulitus in the leg that hit the dash and can't hardly move it and suppose to keep it up.just can't get ahead this month at all lol.

Don't go to GEICO, avoid them like death itself.

Also "FARMERS INSURANCE" Not to be confused with State Farm.

And "PROGRESSIVE" I have cause to wonder about.... (THEY HIGH)

Both GEICO and FARMERS have hung me out to dry before, and I wouldn't trust them with a nickle of my money. They collect, but dump you in a heartbeat.

GEICO is a flat out JOKE....

Don't be suckered

You get what you pay for, and both of the aforementioned are ripoffs in my opinion - from experiences I have had with them in the past.

They will insure anyone.
UNTIL they have to back it up.

They won't

I hope they are NEVER EVER FTE SPONSORS.
I don't want to see FTE "BLACKEYED" by operators like that

I've had State Farm and I have had to make various claims over the years, all of which were fairly big claims and they haven't balked yet, but then again just about eveerything is insured through them as well. They make it several times over in a year's worth of premiums(but my rates have never gone up either, so that can suggest several things to you).

we are switching to Farm Bureau , we have everything through Nationwide , over 3000 a year in Premiums .I am really beginning to believe that insurance is a scam. I would expect problems with his insurance but to have them with the company that is suppose to be looking out for my best interest ...AARRRGGGHHH
