new radio

My daily driver is a 1990 ford ranger 4.0 2wd and my radio doesnt work. I am putting another one in and my question is " Does anyone know what wiring is what each color is for so im not in there playing the guessing game. is there a picture or schematic someone will share with me please.

crutchfield.com has some of that kinda stuff online. You might try checking to see if they have what you need.

Most stereo shops sell adpters that plug after-market stereos and radios into existing wire harness. Makes the transition a whole hell of a lot easier.

Agreed. I was assuming that someone had already chopped up your wiring and you needed the wire colors. If its intact, do yourself a favor and pop for the install harness! they will have instructions on doing the job. Crutchfield carries them too.
