Everyone. I am looking for a program to install on my laptop that will allow me to put down picture captions for my digitial camera pictures before I print them off. I have horrible hand writing and don't want to "write" on my photo's...I would rather just type them in.
What about Microsoft Paint? All computeres that I have seen comes standard with it. Just bring up microsoft paint go to file open then go to the folder where your photos are and select a photo open it then use the text tool that is in Microsoft Paint.
That is how I did a somewhat fancy custom photo of my 63 with the cars "name" I gave her on the photos.
It works well and you can control the size of the text as well as the color and the font style.

True...but I have 11,359 to do and want some type of album layout to go along with my work and be able to print multiple pictures per page...like 4 per page.
Well, that's a little different. You can do layout, editing, and formatting with IrfanView as well. Adobe has a program for it, but it's pricey.
IIRC, can't you use Google Sketchup for this as well?
Ah ok. I got a program with my digital camera that allows me to print multiple photos per page. Cant remember the name of the program since I never used it. I just have been saving photos on a flash drive instead of printing them out. I just right click on the photo then propertys and then I can put in what I want to describe the photo.
