New here. Just picked up a 76 F-250 4wd yesterday and need some help.
Here are my casting numbers;
Intake: C6 9425 - G (Large S cast on the front passenger side runner)
Heads: C6AE-U (I believe this covers 352-428 ci)
Block: C6ME- (I have pressure washed and degreased the block, thats all that is there)
The C6AE-U heads are something of an engima to me. Very short production run, replaced with C6AE-L and then C6AE-J. They have the smallest combustion chambers next to the Hi-po 352 heads.
Ford used this particular head on 390 2V engines that used premium gas.
This head has the shorter 1.93" intake ports. Which chokes down even more a choked down intake port. Other than the small combustion chambers, I see no reason to use this head for anything.
Intake is nothing special. A large "T" 4 barrel intake flows better.
Block could be anything, you'll need to measure the stroke to narrow down what you have.

What the heck do I have here???????????
Welcome to ( FTE ) !
Here is a Link to a Thread that I think will really help on this alot, in this Link there is a
Link to slick60s where there is a discussion about the Intake that you posted the # there
is also discussion in this thread about the block that you posted the # for !
The VIn aint gonna help us as this is a '76 model truck and the castings on the block, heads and intake tell us its a '66 model engine.
FWIW, the truck came with a 360 CID from San Jose in May of 1976.
I was just saying to post your VIN while your posting all those stupid codes off the block. It gives everyone a little more info as to what we are working on. Next time try to post as much info as possible about your truck. Cya around
I don't know if you folks are jackin with me since I am new or what.
The truck is a 1976, I can tell you for certain the engine casting tell us it is a 1966. THIS IS NOT the original motor.
As far as the heads, these were used on everything from a 352 to a 428. There is no intake/exhaust valve difference. The only difference was bolt pattern for the exhaust manifolds, and I think the GT-390 was the only real difference having three bolts per exhaust port rather than two.
My block casting is incomplete, being just a CM6E-. From what I recall, when this is the case, I need to drop the oil pan and read the crank numbers or drop the tranny and look for an "A" or "C" etched into the back of the block.

Again, I'm new here, but I dont have a clue how the VIN would help. We know it's a '76 and we know the engine is a '66 as I stated in my original post.
Those cylinder heads were only used on 2 barrel 390 engines, and only for about 1 month before being superseded by the previously mentioned heads I wrote.
The block casting can be ANYTHING, you'll need to measure the stroke to narrow down what you have.
And again, the intake is nothing, just about dead last for 4 barrel intakes on the FE engine. The "T" intake is good for about 5-10 more HP, the Police Interceptor is vastly superior, followed by the Cobra Jet.
Edelbrock Performer RPM is the best bet for all around perfromance.
