Anyone know where I can find a bellhousing to mount the 460 out of my '96 to the 4 speed in my '71? Besides eBay.
I have come to the conclusion that it will be cheaper to put my 460 into my '71 than it would be to replace the cab of my '96. I am going to start accumulating the parts I will need and do the swap as soon as I get a new set of heads for my 460.
It is cheaper to get a set of Edelbrock heads than it is to get a single head from Ford. Go figure Not sure what heads I am going to put in it yet. Any suggestions?
Everyone seems to covet the d0ve heads from the early 70's. I understand they flow the best. No idea where you would find a set though, unless you got lucky at a junkyard. Very lucky.
I tried it out, but the idea of Diesel Drags did not get the seal of approval as a proper celebration.......
Maybe see you the next week at Rattlesnake?
What?? For my first anniversary in my first marriage we went to see Super Cross in Anaheim. My honeymoon for this one was at an off-road race. Come to think of it, so was my anniversary. Not most girls idea of a romantic time, I know. I'm not like most girls anyway. Congratulations on another year, hope you do something romantic and fun!
Yes, we will be racing next weekend as far as I know.
Got any sisters My ex refused to even change a tire. She decided to spend half our rent to call a tow truck to change a tire on the Geo we had at the time instead of changing it herself.
Congratulations to william_04_x for taking home second! We didn't get to see the actual race due to another engagement running longer than expected, but we did go out and meet William and his lovely wife. Way to go!

Jeff,
I believe a 400 bellhousing will also fit the 460 if my memory is right. Edelbrock heads are about $1800/ set complete the last I looked. For some reason I keep thinking the FI heads are not the same as carbed heads.
