might help to put a piece of rubber hose around the cable while its off, for heat protection.

It's like the weight of the world has been lifted off my sholders...... the truck runs.

Good idea Mark! no matter how i route that wire it's close to the header, that will add some protection. Thanks.

hey bill,
if you get some of that therma-wrap. they make that stuff for headers, plug wires,etc.
we use that stuff on the race cars all the time!

Thats OK Jack, I appreciate your input, if i ever have to take that apart again i'm gonna put the cast iron's back on. all the sudden headers are not so cool....

headers are a pain sometimes! but there capabilty far out ways the pain!
and headers sure cleanup the engine bay! and they disapate heat better then cast iron!
and they sound good i think!!!

I took the pup up to the tempe kiwanas park for an hour long walk while it was cool.

gonna do some light cleaning and bbq later!
